Shinobu Distillery was established in 1910 and is named for the Japanese word 'Shinobu' which means 'forbearance' in English, paying homage to the self-control, patience and tolerance exemplified by the Samurai. Shinobu Distillery calls Japan's Niigata prefecture, which is renowned for its premium sake, rice and snow. Shinobu Koshi-No Pure Malt Mizunara Oak is a 43% ABV hand-crafted Japanese whiskey that is created using a selection of whiskies from across the globe that are originally matured in either ex-bourbon or ex-sherry barrels, then aging these blends in native Japanese Mizunara oak casks. Distinct, complex flavours flow velvet-smooth across the palate for a rich, warm finish.
