An exceptionally ripe and expressive Merlot hailing from McLaren Vale's Serafino. This particular offering could be considered a Merlot for Cabernet drinkers, given its supple fruit and fantastic concentration. It displays a medium to deep ruby hue. The aroma reveals lifted plum, mulberry, sage, and milk chocolate notes. The palate is characterised by a riot of plum and mulberry, complemented by hints of green olive and dried herbs. Robust tannins provide structure, while juicy acidity and a generous amount of savoury oak lend support.
