Born in Kerala on India's southwest tropical Malabar Coast, Paul P. John launched John Distilleries in Bangalore in 1996 and grew rapidly within the Indian whisky market, manufacturing a range of spirits and wines with a single malt distillery in picturesque Goa. Paul John Nirvana is a 40% unpeated single malt whisky that hits the senses with delightful notes of fruitcake, bourbon, vanilla and sweet caramel pudding, with rich caramel and honeycomb smoothness flowing across the palate for a complex, slightly salty barley and yet lingering, honeyed finish.
