Mackintosh Blended Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

The flavour profile seems to indicate a strong helping of the Linkwood Speyside distillery that is highly prized by Scotch whisky blenders and when it appears as a single malt through independent bottlers. The flavour is initially light and fresh, hints of cut grass and malt, and on the palate this whisky really shows its chops. Broad and pleasingly oily, you can tell this has been designed to stand up against mixers if it needs to. Although moreish, finishes well with honey, soft vanilla and dried fruits lingering. The sherry influence is there, but it's subtle.
