Bundaberg Rum was established in 1888 and was created as a solution for local sugar mills to utilise the waste molasses produced once sugar had been drawn from the sugarcane. It was super heavy, so transport costs were prohibitive and considered too costly to convert into feed for livestock. First produced in 1889, Bundaberg Rum was the solution, an additional revenue stream and an absolute game-changer! Bundaberg Rum Spiced Rum is 37.5% ABV and has all of the goodness of the original Bundaberg Rum, with beautiful additions of subtle vanilla and an array of spices, for a sweet smooth finish.
