Built in 1995, the Isle of Arran distillery is among two distilleries located on Scotland’s West Coast. Its prime location is perfect for whisky production and distribution, owing to the warm, fresh sea air, close proximity to the mainland, and an abundance of fresh, soft water. The island of Arran benefits from a warm microclimate, with sea breezes, clear mountain air, and the warm flow of the Gulf Stream offering optimal conditions for the rapid maturation of single malts. During the early 19th century, the island was home to more than 50 whisky distilleries, the majority of which were illegal and carefully hidden from tax officials. The island's malt whisky was transported to the mainland where it was relished by the gentry, who often referred to it as 'taking the Arran waters'. At the time, it was considered the finest whisky in Scotland, second only to those from the 'Glen of Livet'.

The World Robert Burns Federation has officially endorsed this Arran Single Malt as a tribute to Scotland’s most illustrious poet. Produced from 70% Bourbon Casks and 30% Sherry Casks, this light and aromatic single malt is perfect for consumption before or during a meal.
