Eight botanicals combine to create Bass & Flinders Soft & Smooth gin, a perfect expression of the spirit. The recipe features the classic gin botanicals of Angelica root, juniper berries, liquorice root, and fresh, zesty lime. The delicate bouquet of citrus brings out the nuances of Bass & Flinders Shiraz grape spirit, distilled from local wine in an Alembic Pot Still in small batches. This type of care and attention to craftsmanship results in an exceptional product. The pot distillation gives this gin a very smooth texture and ensures the ingredients are blended well together. The gin is created on the third distillation with vapour infusion in small batches for exceptional flavour and richness. Serve with tonic water with a slice of lime or cucumber, or mixed into a cocktail.
