Wolfburn Langskip Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

For those who prefer their whiskey youthful and full of exuberance, Wolfburn Langskip is like an ace in the hole. Technically not a cask strength since a little water is added to maintain a consistent alcohol level but at 58% ABV it comes very close and mirrors the character of CS scotches. Aged in first fill bourbon casks on the Caithness coastline, Wolfburn Langskip has a slight maritime note but floral, fruity and nutty flavours are more dominant with apricots and sultanas leading out, followed closely by walnuts and macadamias mixed with a nice nutmeg spiciness.
