The Irishman Cask Strength is an annual single malt Irish release from the Walsh Whiskey Company and distilled at an undisclosed location. Beyond this, all that is known is that it is distilled three times, aged exclusively in ex-bourbon casks and is a fine example of what Irish whiskey should taste like. Made from a 100% malted barley mash it is honey sweet with heavy fruit notes and a strong undercurrent of vanilla, citrus, cinnamon and hazelnuts.
