The grapes for this exclusive blend are sourced from a selection of premium estate vineyards from cooler sites for the elegance and purity these grapes offer. The blend sources 71% from Lower Yarra and 29% Upper Yarra to strike a perfect balance between fragrance and structure.Grapes are hand-picked and sorted into a balance between berries and whole bunches. Fermentation is activated with ambient yeast and then allows 15-20 days maceration. The blend is then pressed and racked into new and used barriques for 9 months. Bright ruby hue with ethereal, fragrant red and dark fruit aromas. Graceful, soft berry fruit on the palate that balances aromatics and texture with fine tannin.
