The Boehm family landed in the United States of America in 1740 at a time when America was just 13 colonies. By 1788 they were living in Kentucky and had Americanized their family name to "Beam". Jacob Beam was one of those incentivised by the U.S. government to grow corn and distilled excess corn with an old whiskey recipe of his father's, selling Old Jake Beam Sour Mash in the 3 year old state of Kentucky for the very first time in 1795. Jim Beam Honey Bourbon is a 30% ABV Jim Beam-infused honey liqueur and boasts a warm, bourbon flavour up front with subtle vanilla, oak and caramel characters.
