Winner of Double Gold at the 2018 San Francisco Spirits Competition and ranked #4 in Whisky Advocate's Top 20 Whiskies the same year, Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old is a classic Islay single malt with a superlative nature. 65% aged in virgin American whiskey casks, 10% in second fill oak and 25% in 2nd fill French wine casks it has a delicate nature and soft texture for an Islay. Anything but a peat monster, it has a flavour that is genteelly Smokey but more dominated by sweet orchard fruit, citrus notes and honey.
